‘X Factor’ Winners Alex & Sierra Release ‘Take Me’ (AUDIO)

Alex & Sierra were the final winners of The X Factor USA, and they were easily one of the most popular acts any X Factor franchise has ever had, considering they topped the vote every single week of the competition. Now, Alex & Sierra are looking to parlay that popularity into their next album, the hotly-anticipated As Seen On TV EP.

The EP is due to be released on September 30, but it recently became available for pre-order. In order to build hype for the eight-track EP, Alex & Sierra have released one of the three original songs they wrote for the album, “Take Me”. The track is a haunting, ethereal ballad that almost sounds kind of New Age. I absolutely adore it, and it bodes well for what the rest of the album has to offer. Not only do you get originals like “Take Me”, you’ll get studio versions of some of their most popular covers from The X Factor USA, such as “You’re The One That I Want”, “Say My Name”, “Gravity”, “Say Something” and “Toxic”. All in all, this is shaping up to be a really solid EP, and well-worth checking out. Listen to “Take Me” on Spotify below:
