WWE Women’s Champion Becky Lynch Updates Fans On Health
WWE Smackdown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch was pulled from last night’s No Mercy pay-per-view, and although initial reports claimed she was suffering from a neck injury, it turns out the condition is less serious than expected — even though we don’t know, specifically, what that condition is.
During No Mercy last night, Lynch took to Twitter to update fans about her health, vowing that she’ll be working to get back ASAP to defend her title, implying that her condition wouldn’t be keeping her out long.
Thank you all for the thoughts. I promise I'll do everything I can to get back ASAP and defend my title… I'm watching closely tonight pic.twitter.com/SWT8QLK9r0

At No Mercy and on Talking Smack afterwards, it was confirmed that Lynch would be back in time for the November 8 episode of Smackdown Live from Glasgow, Scotland, as she is set to defend her title on that show against No. 1 contender Alexa Bliss. Strangely enough, Bliss lost to Naomi, which would seem to suggest that this title match could become a three-way. Then again, it could just be the start of a TV feud to keep Bliss occupied for the next couple weeks and further strengthen her as a challenger for Bliss by potentially having her demolish Naomi in the rematches. It’s really the only way Naomi’s win last night makes sense, to me. Either way, I’m a big fan of Lynch, so I’m hoping whatever her condition happens to be, she manages to get healthy again sooner rather than later.
