WWE Star Cesaro Confirms He Will NOT Be at Wrestlemania 32

With rumors of John Cena possibly accelerating rehab on his shoulder injury in order to make it to Wrestlemania 32 in two months, there are murmurings that some other injured WWE stars might be on their way to a speedy recovery. This is why Cesaro, who is currently on the injured list himself, had to go to the media to clarify his current status. As it turns out, the news isn’t great.

In an interview with Esquire Middle East, Cesaro stated he will not be ready in time for Wrestlemania 32. In fact, he stated he’s changed the background of his phone to the logo for Wrestlemania 33, since it gives him a goal he can focus on. The timetable for his return after he initially injured his shoulder was a relatively sparse 4-6 months, as compared to the 6-9 months projected for John Cena. But not all bodies heal the same, and some injuries prove to be more persistent than others when it comes to causing trouble.

Cesaro is an amazing talent, and his return is the one I’m most anxious for, considering the matches he could have with guys like AJ Styles and Chris Jericho. Here’s hoping to a full, speedy recovery. Get well soon, Cesaro!
