WWE Star Bubba Ray Dudley Criticizes Complaint That ‘Younger Talent Gets Buried’

WWE star Bubba Ray Dudley is one of the most outspoken performers on social media, defending the product against fans who, he feels, do little else but complain. This is one such situation.

Bubba sent out a tweet mocking the “Internet Wrestling Community”, a typically pejorative term for fans who use insider terminology and generally complain about the shows but keep watching anyway. The tweet read “BITCH…MOAN…COMPLAIN…REPEAT. Welcome to the IWC”. This prompted a response from a fan who posted, “@BubbaRayDudley WELCOME TO #RAW WHERE ALL THE YOUNGER TALENT GETS BURIED”.

Seriously annoyed, Bubba lashed out at the fan in his next tweet by listing off the names of young talent that’s on the rise” “AJ-over. Enzo/Cass-over. Owens-over. Zayn-over. Charlotte-over. Becky-over. Sasha-over. Club-over. Zip it troll.”

On the one hand, Bubba isn’t wrong that young talent is definitely being pushed. The problem is that, in the general sense, fans have an issue with the product itself, whether it’s Roman Reigns being the center of attention, AJ Styles continually getting beaten at big shows, or guys like Cesaro, Owens and Zayn not being used to their fullest potential. That said, none of those are really my issues with the product. My problem with WWE right now stems largely from the over-abundance of McMahons on TV, particularly Stephanie, who just might be the most insufferable, unwatchable character on television. I’m loving the ongoing Zayn/Owens feud, and the AJ Styles/John Cena angle from Monday was tremendous. And it does feel like we’re on the brink of a new era, with all the young talent getting called up from NXT. So there’s a lot to like about this product. But the focus on the McMahons is just draining.

But what do you think? Do you agree or disagree with Bubba Ray Dudley? Sound off in the comments!
