WWE Smackdown Spoilers for Tonight’s Show: A.J. Styles and The Club, The New Day, More

The spoilers are in for tonight’s WWE Smackdown, and it looks like A.J. Styles and The Club are reigning supreme.

The Club bookends the show with opening and closing segments, as the group find themselves confronting WWE Tag Team Champions The New Day. Surprisingly, this doesn’t lead to a six-man tag team match, presumably because we no longer have Teddy Long as Smackdown GM. But we do get a pair of other tag team matches on the show, as The Dudleys take on The Golden Truth, and Sami Zayn teams with Dean Ambrose to take on fellow Money in the Bank participants Kevin Owens and Alberto Del Rio. Also on tap for the show, Becky Lynch battles WWE Women’s Champion Charlotte in a non-title match, and U.S. Champion Rusev takes on Jack Swagger. It’s an action-packed show, to say the least. -The New Day opens with an interview. They are interrupted by The Club, which sets up A.J. Styles vs. Kofi Kingston as the main event.

-Becky Lynch defeated WWE Women’s Champion Charlotte by DQ in a non-title match after Dana Brooke interfered. Natalya made the save, and helped Lynch clear the ring.

-A backstage interview with Dean Ambrose, Sami Zayn, Kevin Owens and Alberto Del Rio sets up a tag match for later.

-The Dudleys defeated The Golden Truth off a distraction by Breezango.

-Sami Zayn & Dean Ambrose defeated Kevin Owens & Alberto Del Rio. After the match, everyone brawled with a ladder. The segment ended when Cesaro ran down, took out Kevin Owens, and climbed the ladder, grabbing the MITB briefcase.

-Jack Swagger defeated U.S. Champion Rusev by reverse decision when Rusev refused to release The Accolade. This brought out Titus O’Neil for the save.

-A.J. Styles defeated Kofi Kingston with the Styles Clash. The Club and The New Day brawled at ringside, and Roman Reigns got involved in the chaos, in a segment we’re not sure aired live. Might have been a dark segment. International viewers, let us know.
