WWE Roadblock: End of the Line Results: New Champions, Heel Turn, And A Main Event Swerve
WWE Roadblock: End of the Line is in the record books, and it was a momentous way to close out 2016: not only were there multiple title changes, there was a big return (with an accompanying heel turn), and a big swerve in the main event! But who left Roadblock with championship gold around their waist?
Tonight’s show featured United States Champion Roman Reigns challenging Kevin Owens for the Universal Title, while Seth Rollins took on Chris Jericho. WWE Tag Team Champions The New Day defend their record-setting reign against Sheamus and Cesaro, and Sasha Banks put her Women’s title on the line against Charlotte Flair in the first women’s Iron Man Match to ever take place on the main roster. Also, Sami Zayn took his last shot against Braun Strowman in a special ten-minute time limit match. All in all, it was a stacked card with some surprising results.
