Jacqueline Moore was officially announced as the latest inductee to the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2016. However, while the news was one of the earliest leaks for the Hall of Fame induction list, we finally have an official Hall of Fame video package, following its debut on last night's episode of Raw.
A former two-time WWE Women's Champion, Jacqueline has held the USWA Women's Championship on FOURTEEN occasions, in addition to being the first woman to hold the WWE version of the Cruiserweight Championship, which was carried over from WCW (where 2015 Hall of Fame inductee Madusa was the first woman to achieve that honor). She was also among the most recognizable female talents in the Monday Night Wars, as she was featured prominently both in WWE and WCW. Jacqueline joins a list of Hall of Fame inductees that include Sting, The Godfather, The Fabulous Freebirds, The Big Boss Man, and Stan Hansen, so it should be a momentous night on the eve of Wrestlemania. Celebrate the induction by watching the official video package below:
As the first black woman to be inducted to the WWE Hall of Fame, Jacqueline will probably deliver one hell of an emotional speech. I suppose the only question now is who inducts her? Sasha Banks? Naomi? Alicia Fox? I mean, realistically, Jacqueline would probably prefer to be inducted by one of her former colleagues, but I would imagine WWE would rather use the occasion to also put a spotlight on one of their up-and-coming stars. I guess we'll find out soon enough.
Oh, and congratulations to Jacqueline on the Hall of Fame induction!
