WWE Hall of Famer Pleads Guilty to DUI Charges
The legal trouble continues for a WWE Hall of Famer.
Tammy “Sunny” Sytch has pleaded guilty to DUI charges stemming from her May 30th, 2015 arrest in Mahoning Township, Pennsylvania. Sytch was pulled over and arrested after she was seen hitting a curb in a store parking lot. The charges to which Sytch pleaded guilty include DUI – General Impairment/Incapable of Driving Safely and DUI – Highest Rate of Alcohol (BAC .16+) and BAC .02 or Greater Second Offense. These other charges stem from second and third arrests on June 1st and June 20th, respectively. In the latter date, she actually wrecked her car altogether. So it would appear that Sytch is as much a danger to herself on the open road as she is to others.
Sytch was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in April 2011, after a distinguished career as a manager/valet for various superstars throughout the years, including multiiple tag team champions and future Hall of Famers such as The Road Warriors. Sytch is also generally regarded as the “first WWE Diva”, kick-starting the company’s devotion to glamorizing its female superstars. However, she hasn’t been seen in the company since her Hall of Fame induction.
Sytch is due to be sentenced on January 29th in Carbon County, and although she may have taken a plea deal, I’m not sure how much longer she can avoid jail time with all these repeat offenses. But I suppose the only silver lining for Sytch is that at least she’s not the WWE Hall of Famer facing murder charges.
