Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith Shoot Down Divorce Rumors
Amid all the celebrity divorces swirling around Hollywood, one couple is insisting they’re not headed down that route.
Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith have denied rumors of an impending divorce by taking to social media to address the concerns, after receiving an influx of condolences from fans who are heartbroken to hear about their apparent separation.
In a Facebook post, Will wrote:
Under normal circumstances, I don’t usually respond to foolishness. (Because it’s contagious) But, so many people have extended me their “deepest condolences” that I figured – “What the hell… I can be foolish, too!”
So, in the interest of redundant, repetitious, over & over-again-ness… Jada and I are…
NOT GETTING A DIVORCE!!!!!!!!!!!!! : -)
I promise you all – if I ever decide to divorce my Queen – I SWEAR I’ll tell you myself!
?#?Dumb? People Should Have to Wear Scarlet D’s
Jada quickly took to Twitter to back-up her “King”.
My king has spoken.

Will and Jada have been together since 1997, and have two children together: Jaden Smith (born in 1998) and Willow Smith (born in 2000). And yet, at eighteen years of marriage, they wouldn’t have been the longest-tenured Hollywood couple to separate this week had these rumors been anything other than unfounded.
Just yesterday, Reba McEntire and Narvel Blackstock announced their separation after 26 years of marriage. This, on the same day that Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale announced their divorce after 13 years.
This is without even getting into the Blake Shelton/Miranda Lambert divorce, the ugly court case between Bobby Flay and Stephanie March, or the equal-parts sad and scandalous separation of Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner. It’s hard out here for a married couple in Hollywood. But Will and Jada look to be pulling through, and assuring that love is still alive and well in show business.
