UFC Star Ronda Rousey Stands With Standing Rock (PHOTO)
UFC star Ronda Rousey has been off-the-radar since her crushing defeat at UFC 207 at the hands of Amanda Nunes. However, Rousey resurfaced in a friend’s Instagram post, showing her support for the Standing Rock Indian Reservation.
Rousey joined protesters against the Dakota Access pipeline at Standing Rock. Specifically, protesters are rebelling against the construction of the Dakota Access pipeline, since it would run underneath the Missouri River and potentially threaten the water supply in the area. In the Instagram post, Rousey was seen at Standing Rock alongside close friend Pauline Macias. Both women arrived at Standing Rock to deliver supplies to the protesters, with Macias writing that it was “one of the best road trips” of her life.
