UFC Star Conor McGregor Brags About Stealing Vince McMahon’s WWE Strut

UFC Lightweight champion Conor McGregor has a very particular strut that’s been compared to that of WWE chairman Vince McMahon. Now, not only is McGregor admitting he stole it from McMahon, he’s daring anyone to do something about it.

“I’m thinking Vince McMahon must be pissed,” McGregor said during a Q&A in England this past weekend. He’s stated in the past that McMahon is a guy he respects, even while ragging on many of the people under his employ. But even while McGregor’s reps have stated he’s open to possibly working with the company, it seems clear that McGregor himself doesn’t give a damn one way or the other about the feelings of anyone in WWE, much less McMahon himself.

“I don’t give a (expletive) about Vince McMahon. I stole that walk and that walk is now mine,” McGregor said. “Not Vince or any of those (expletive) over in the WWE will do anything about it.

“That’s my walk. I created that walk. I made that walk.”

Well, if there was ever a time to start making a push to get McGregor on the Wrestlemania card, it’s now. Granted, I don’t really expect WWE would be able to come up with a number big enough to get McGregor to do business, but it’s an interesting thought to imagine him in a pro wrestling context, since he’s already better at working audiences than most guys in WWE right now. Of course, I never imagine Floyd Mayweather would do anything with WWE, yet he still faced The Big Show at Wrestlemania 24 (in Orlando, which is where this year’s Wrestlemania will be held). It should be interesting to see if WWE is ever able to get McGregor to play ball, because I think his involvement would be worth whatever they end up paying him.

But what do you think about all this? Sound off in the comments!
