Tom Hanks and wife Rita Wilson have Coronavirus

Tom Hanks Coronavirus

Tom Hanks announced today that he and wife Rita Wilson have tested positive for the novel coronavirus COVID-19.

He wrote on Instagram:

Hello, folks. Rita and I are down here in Australia. We felt a bit tired, like we had colds, and some body aches. Rita had some chills that came and went. Slight fevers too. To play things right, as is needed in the world right now, we were tested for the Coronavirus, and were found to be positive.

Well, now. What to do next? The Medical Officials have protocols that must be followed. We Hanks’ will be tested, observed, and isolated for as long as public health and safety requires. Not much more to it than a one-day-at-a-time approach, no?

We’ll keep the world posted and updated.

Take care of yourselves!

The NBA has also canceled the rest of the season after Rudy Gobert of the Utah Jazz tested positive for coronavirus. Donald Trump announced tonight that all flights from Europe (except the UK) are banned for 30 days starting this Friday at midnight. Earlier today WHO declared COVID-19 a pandemic.

Please note that two years ago, Donald Trump abolished the pandemic response team of the United States while he was trying to push for his border wall. He never replaced them and now we have a pandemic.
