TNA star Ethan Carter III has found success outside of WWE, becoming a multi-time world champion in TNA. Although the more cynical fan might argue that EC3 is on the decline after losing his 30-month undefeated streak to "The Miracle" Mike Bennett, Carter isn't exactly trying to go back to WWE any time soon.
In an appearance at last night's EVOLVE 61 iPPV in Queens, New York, EC3 appeared with current TNA World Heavyweight Champion Drew Galloway. Galloway was competing in a match with current WWE NXT Superstar Johnny Gargano, when EC3 came to ringside for a vicious, anti-WWE promo. Not only did he rip on his time in the original NXT, which was more like an embarrassing reality competition series than a developmental league, EC3 knocked former developmental coach Bill DeMott. He also went after Triple H, the current head of talent relations at WWE, for blowing it by letting both himself and Galloway (who wrestled in WWE as Drew McIntyre) go. He felt Triple H failed to make the most out of their natural talent, since both men went on to become world champions in TNA. All in all, it was a pretty great promo, as EC3 showed a lot of fire.
