The X Factor Australia 2015 Bootcamp Results: Which Girls Advanced? (VIDEO)

The X Factor Australia is ready to begin Home Visits, as judge Dannii Minogue completed the Top 20 by picking her top five for the Girls category. She was the final judge to round out her team after Chris Isaak picked his five Boys on Sunday, and James Blunt made his final picks for the Over 25s category, with Guy Sebastian also selecting his five Groups. Naturally, the Five Chair Challenge caused a lot of controversy, as girls landed a seat in the top five only to be swapped out later, which caused an uproar on Twitter. Needless to say, there was a lot of heartbreak.

But which five girls survived the Five Chair Challenge? Who advanced to judges’ Home Visits, with The X Factor UK judges Simon Cowell and Rita Ora?

Check out the results and videos below:

I really can’t say any of these picks surprised me, except for the elimination of Chloe Papandrea, who I thought was an absolute LOCK for the lives. In fact, she’s probably the most shocking elimination of the Five Chair Challenge, for me. If nothing else, I thought her version of “One Last Time” was one of the better performances of the night. That said, Dannii has a pretty strong category this year. I don’t know that someone from the Girls category will necessarily pull a Marlisa Punzalan and take this whole competition by storm, but I think the potential is certainly there, even if there aren’t any huge voices like Marlisa’s in this category this year (although you could make the argument for Maddison Milewski).

Anyway, what did you think of Dannii Minogue’s choices? Did she pick the right five Girls? How are Dannii’s chances looking this year? Sound off in the comments!
