The Voice Results: Who Will Win? (POLL) – 05/19/2015
It all comes down to this! The final four performed on The Voice, and now it’s up to America to choose the winner for Season 8!
I’ll admit, this hasn’t exactly been the most exciting season of The Voice, but this final performance show actually delivered a surprisingly neck-and-neck set of performances. I still think the winner and runner-up are already set in stone, with the only real drama coming from who finishes in third and fourth, but considering the amount of talent that fell by the wayside early into the season, there’s no way to know for sure that we’re not in for a major surprise. Hell, just this time last season, it seemed all but certain that Matt McAndrew would be The Voice for Season 7, but alas…
So what do you think? Are we in for an upset in the finale? Or is Tuesday night’s finale going to be The Sawyer Fredericks Victory Parade? Add your predictions on who you think is winning it at all by voting in our poll below!
Ultimately, I think this finale will have the least amount of drama of any finale in Voice history, although I’d be willing to hear alternatives. For instance, I’m sure you could make the argument that Cassadee Pope and Danielle Bradbery were foregone conclusions, and I wouldn’t really haggle with you. This show likes to set its frontrunners early, and it doesn’t really change too often, sort of like American Idol in its early seasons. Sure, there’d be late surges for some underdog contestants, but it feels like the person who wins this show is usually the person everyone expects to win. Not that there’s anything wrong with that, of course, especially if the person who wins is the person who deserves to win. It’s hard for me not to get excited about a finale for The Voice, no matter how inevitable it outcome might seem.
