The Voice iTunes Charts: Jordan Smith Leads at #2, Every Team Charts In Top 10

The Voice 9 is on FIRE right now! A whopping SEVEN artists from last night’s show charted in the Top 10 on iTunes! This is a huge departure from last week, when only two artists charted in the Top 10.

This week, Jordan Smith leads in the iTunes rankings, landing at No. 2 with his emotional version of “Hallelujah”. The Team Adam crooner just nudged out Team Blake’s Barrett Baber, who came in at No. 3 with his powerful rendition of Conway Twitty’s “I’d Just Love To Lay You Down”.

Right behind them was Madi Davis, who came in at No. 4 with her version of Cyndi Lauper’s “Girls Just Want To Have Fun”. This is the highest charting for Team Pharrell this season, and it would seem to indicate that this will be the first week since the live shows started in which Pharrell doesn’t lose an artist. And that’s a good thing for Team Pharrell, considering Madi is literally all Pharrell has left in this competition.

Rounding out the Top 5 is Team Blake’s Emily Ann Roberts, who came in at No. 5 with her take on Patsy Cline’s “She’s Got You”. Hot on her heels is Team Gwen’s Jeffery Austin, who landed at No. 7 with his passionate version of Labrinth’s “Jealous”.

From there, the Top 10 was rounded out by Team Adam: Amy Vachal landed at No. 9 with her unique spin on “Bye Bye Bye” by NSYNC, while Shelby Brown earned her best showing of the live shows with a No. 10 charting for her version of Vince Gill’s “Go Rest High On That Mountain”.

Naturally, while every team charted in the Top 10, even those who didn’t have nothing to be upset about, as nearly every artist charted in the Top 30: Team Blake’s Zach Seabaugh charted at No. 20 with his version of “Crazy Little Thing Called Love”, and Team Gwen’s Korin Bukowski came in at No. 29 with her spin on Selena Gomez’s “Same Old Love”. I said “nearly” every artist, because there was one notable omission. Team Gwen’s Braiden Sunshine didn’t chart ANYWHERE in the Top 100 singles on iTunes this week, becoming the only artist this week to be left out. Is this the end of the road for Braiden? Or will other methods of voting save him? If he lands in the Bottom 2, will America save him? We’ll find out on tonight’s results show.
