‘The View’ morale and ratings rising without Rosie O’Donnell
Rosie O’Donnell‘s departure from The View is turning out to be good news for ABC. Ratings have been going up for weeks since she left the show. And, as NY Daily News gossips, morale on the set is much more positive now without her.
“The show is running much smoother now,” said an insider. “There’s much less negative resistance now.” Rosie was known to “push back” on ideas that she didn’t like on the show.
“Nobody is walking on eggshells anymore, and the whole show is much lighter. Whoopi is much happier,” adds the source.
Rosie made a surprise announcement of leaving she show last month for “medical reasons.” The show had been stressing her out along with pressures in her personal life. She filed for divorce from her second wife Michelle last February 28, 2015.
