‘The Flash’ Movie Finds New Director

The Flash movie finally has a new director! A little more than a month after Seth Grahame-Smith dropped out of the project due to creative differences with the studio, Warner Bros. has found a new director to take his place.

Rick Famuyiwa will be taking over as director, having earned the job thanks to his work on Sundance hit Dope. Grahame-Smith’s script, from a treatment by Phil Lord and Chris Miller, will still be used as the basis for the film.

The Flash is due to hit theaters on March 16, 2018 with Ezra Miller as the titular speedster.
