‘The Bachelorette’ Winner Jordan Rodgers Called Out On Instagram By Ex
The Bachelorette winner Jordan Rodgers was grilled by JoJo Fletcher damn near the entire season, regarding rumors that he has a history of unfaithful behavior in his relationships. Jordan denied it to the end, and ended up receiving JoJo’s final rose. Now, the two are engaged. But that hasn’t halted any of the drama, or the rumors surrounding Jordan’s past, as his ex has now come forward to confirm he cheated on her prior to going on The Bachelorette.
Jordan’s ex-girlfriend, Brittany Farrar, ranted about his cheating ways in an epic Instagram rant. The first picture displays flowers he allegedly purchased for the other woman back in June 2014, with a dedication on the card reading, “Happy Birthday To My Favorite Bella. Miss You Can’t Wait To See That Beautiful Smile Again. From, Your Favorite Football Player Wanna-Be Actor.” The implication here is that Jordan, who served as an extra for the movie Pitch Perfect 2, was having an affair with one of his co-stars, presumably someone who was part of the fictional Barden Bellas in the movie.
Brittany goes into further detail in the caption of the image: “The Original Rose: The receipt for a giant bouquet of roses Jordan bought for the girl he cheated on me with in Louisiana. (The first of many I would later find out about. He met her while shooting Pitch Perfect 2 (he was deep in the background pretending to be one of the Green Bay Packers — the closest he’s ever been to making an NFL team). And for the devil’s advocate I’ve included screenshots of texts with dates to show we were a couple when he bought his favorite Bella some very special roses. And also one of the many, many texts he sent after we broke up.”
Brittany followed this up with three screenshots of text messages she allegedly exchanged with Jordan from June 26, 2014.
“Sooo no text from u last night when u got home.. How come? … Don’t think I would have appreciated a text? … Really sincere,” she wrote, to which Jordan responded, “My bad … Like I said it was a long night.”
Over a month later, Jordan would turn the tables on Brittany by claiming he was the one being ignored in their relationship: “How do you not respond to any of that all day?? You really have no feelings for me anymore do you? I don’t get it britt. I can’t sleep I can’t eat, I’m losing a s–t load of weight I’m depressed. I’m beating myself up enough about this already. Please just talk to me.”
The next morning, however, Jordan was in a less tense mood, texting Brittany, “Good morning love of my life. Just letting you know I’m not giving up.”
The messages have been getting deleted on Instagram, and Brittany is claiming censorship, but we don’t really know right now if it’s ABC who is involved in getting the posts taken down or if the posts somehow violate Instagram’s terms, and the company is simply taking the images down on their own. Either way, it certainly behooves ABC to keep this under wraps, since they presumably want to keep the idea of Jordan and JoJo as a happy, successful couple in the public eye. There may not be any kind of conspiracy here at all, but it seems unlikely that this will be the last of the drama surrounding Jordan and JoJo.
