‘The Bachelor’ Twins Emily and Haley Ferguson Finalizing Deal For Spinoff Show
Around this time last year (give or take a few weeks), we were first being introduced to twins Emily and Haley Ferguson on The Bachelor. While neither sister would win the heart of Ben Higgins, they did return to television for the third season of Bachelor In Paradise. I’m guessing that must have gone well for them, since the sisters are now finalizing a deal for a spinoff show of their own!
Yes, following in the footsteps of Ben Higgins and Lauren Bushnell (the woman who bested them for his heart), the Ferguson sisters are hoping to get their own spinoff on Freeform, according to a source for Us Weekly..
The show would follow Emily and Haley’s lives in their hometown of Las Vegas, Nevada, and it would presumably feature a bunch of familiar faces from the Bachelor Nation, considering how many random Bachelor stars were shoehorned into Ben and Lauren: Happily Ever After? in its first season. Granted, the project is in no way a done deal. But the fact that the network is even negotiating with the sisters suggests the Bella Twins could have some competition in the field of Twin Sisters On Reality TV. I mean, it’s not really a specific category, but I suppose it technically will be soon.
Emily and Haley are entertaining in doses, although I’m not sure I’d necessarily watch an entire season of a show that was dedicated to them. But hey, you never know. Maybe they’re secretly deep and far more interesting than we realize. Hell, I gave Ben and Lauren’s show a shot, so I’ll probably do the same for the twins. Here’s hoping my cautious optimism about all this isn’t misplaced.
But what do you think about Emily and Haley getting a spinoff? Which Bachelor stars do you think deserve their own show? Sound off in the comments!
