‘The Bachelor’ Host Chris Harrison To Appear on ‘Ben and Lauren’ Spinoff

Ben Higgins and Lauren Bushnell have a new spinoff coming to Freeform, titled Ben and Lauren: Happily Ever After? (kind of ominous to place a question mark at the end, but given the track-record for The Bachelor franchise, I suppose it isn’t unrealistic). Not only is former Bachelorette JoJo Fletcher, villain Chad Johnson, Bachelor In Paradise couple Grant and Lace, and countless other familiar faces going to appear on the show, but the host of the franchise will be appearing as well!

Yes, Chris Harrison will show up on the series. Harrison, who was there to watch Ben and Lauren fall in love on the 20th season of The Bachelor, will appear in the second episode of the show, in addition to one other episode, PEOPLE is reporting.

Naturally, the show will follow Ben and Lauren in the aftermath of The Bachelor, as they adjust to life in the spotlight, while trying to nurture a love that must contest with the strains of sudden celebrity. The trailer didn’t exactly look thrilling, but I’m willing to give the show a shot. You can watch the trailer below, in preparation for the premiere on Tuesday, October 11th on Freeform.
