‘The Bachelor’ Alum AshLee Frazier Engaged

It’s happy news for a veteran of The Bachelor who managed to find love outside the show!

AshLee Frazier, who competed on Sean Lowe’s season of The Bachelor, became engaged over the weekend to her boyfriend, Aaron Williams. It was supposedly a pretty romantic moment, as Williams got on one knee while taking in the view on the Brooklyn Bridge during their trip to New York City this past Saturday.

“After a 10-year friendship and 11 months of courtship, I am marrying my best friend,” Frazier said in a statement.

According to reports, the couple sealed the deal on their engagement with a romantic dinner at Scarpetta, a three-star, award-winning Italian restaurant in the city.

This represents the culmination of a long search for love for Frazier, who not only made Sean Lowe’s final three on The Bachelor 2013, but also dated former two-time Bachelor Brad Womack later that year. In 2014, she joined the debut season of Bachelor In Paradise, but her relationship with Graham Bunn didn’t work out in the end. While you could probably argue that reality TV isn’t the best place to find love, I can’t really blame her for trying. Hell, even though she got cut by Sean Lowe at final three, his final choice of Catherine Guidici ended up proving that shows like this can result in marriages and children. That said, kudos to Frazier for realizing reality TV wasn’t really working out, and choosing to take a shot on a longtime friend. After all, you never know where you’ll find love.

Congratulations to Frazier and Williams! Wishing them all the best for a happy future together!
