‘Survivor: Kaoh Rong’: Deleted Scenes for Season Premiere (VIDEO)
The deleted scenes are here for the season premiere of Survivor: Kaoh Rong, and well…if I’m being honest, I might have been too hasty in judging this season. The season premiere left me feeling as though not everyone in this game knew what they were doing, and while that remains largely true for some of the castaways, these deleted scenes illustrate that these contestants ARE thinking critically and strategically. I suppose Survivor: Caramoan just set a really high bar for strategy. If anything, I admit to my own Survivor blindspots, and I suppose that’s one of them. When you have an amazing season like Caramoan, you want the next season to be as amazing right out the gate. It’s unfair, but when you’ve been watching a show for 31 seasons, expectations get inflated.
But I digress. This was a solid premiere with some truly insightful deleted scenes. I’m not sure if this season is going to be on track to land in my ranking of the Top 10 greatest seasons of all-time, but I would imagine this is a season that will at least be genuinely colorful. Hell, we’ve got some great personalities on the Beauty tribe, just from Caleb and Tai alone! This is without even getting into some of the colorful personalities from the other two tribes, like Debbie from the Brains, and and Jason and Scot from the Brawn tribe. I’m all-in on this season already.
But what didn’t we see in the premiere? And what does the eliminated castaway have to say the day after? We have secret scenes, deleted confessionals, challenge videos, tribal council clips with full voting recaps, interviews with the eliminated castaway on the day after elimination, and more!
