Sony’s Aibo dogs, introduced in 1999, are dying slowly and owners are scrambling to save them.
Sony stopped making the dogs in 2006 after selling 150,000 of them. Last year, Sony closed their repair center and many of the dogs, which have become a members of the family for many owners, are dying.
Some owners have “cannibalized” other dogs for parts to save their own. It sounds really horrible. Why Sony? Why?
