Solar-Powered Plane Begins 5-Month Trip Around the World (VIDEO)
A Swiss-made solar-powered plane called the Solar Impulse 2 took off from Abu Dhabi on Monday for a historic trip around the world with no fossil fuel.
The trip will consist of a few legs totaling 25 days of flying time over five months. The legs above the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans will be five days and five nights non-stop solo for the one of the two pilots.
