Solange Rocks ‘Big Bird’ Dress At Whitney Museum Opening (PHOTOS)
Solange took her fashion cues head-to-toe from Sesame Street’s Big Bird at the opening of the Whitney Museum of American Art in New York this weekend.
Beyonce’s sister wore a yellow feathered coat with yellow pants and matching black feathered shoes with green toe nails trim. She added a pink clutch to complete her ensemble.
I could also describe her hair and make-up, but does it really matter? She looks like she skinned the pelt off Big Bird for this one. Poor Big Bird!
On Twitter she wrote that Big Bird is barefoot and since she’s wearing shoes, she wins.
You can't see my shoes in this picture, but they are pop'n. Big bird is barefoot, so me for the win. https://t.co/dqBlgajIAW

The Whitney Museum moved to its new location in the Meatpacking District of Manhattan near the Hudson River from the Upper East Side. The old building will be leased to the Metropolitan Museum of Art. The new location opens to the public on May 1, 2015.
Solange is a known patron of the arts and has been exposing her son and niece to fine culture which I love. She recently took Blue Ivy to the Museum of Contemporary Art in LA.
