‘Sleepy Hollow’ Renewed for Third Season
Despite concerns that Sleepy Hollow would not be renewed for Season 3 (due to poor ratings and the loss of its showrunner), Fox will give the show another chance following a sophomore slump.
Variety has confirmed that the show will return for a brand new 18-episode third season.
So who will take over as showrunner following the departure of Mark Goffman? That job lands in the hands of Clifton Campbell, the creator of The Glades.
Said Fox entertainment president of the change up, “I had the pleasure of working with Clifton on both The Glades and White Collar. He is an excellent producer, and we can’t wait to see what this team has in store for season three.”
Sleepy Hollow fell from 11.1 million viewers to 7.1 million within the first two seasons. Let’s hope it can get its head on straight for Season 3.
Yup, we went there. We had to.
