Security Footage of WWE Performance Center Shooting Released (VIDEO)
Well, this is awkward, to say the least. Security footage of the shooting incident at the WWE Performance Center has been released, and it reveals a man who is largely unhinged, and obsessed with WWE to a frightening degree.
Back in August, 29-year-old Armando Alejandro Montalvo was shot outside of the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, FL after trespassing at the facility and refusing to vacate the premises. When police arrived on the scene, Montalvo refused to stand down, and even charged at one of the officers, resulting in his shooting. Now, video of the incident has been released by Orlando affiliate WFTV-9. It’s a harrowing window into one man’s madness, as Montalvo just refuses to back down, flipping off the officers and generally being as aggressive as he can be without getting himself killed in the process. The video cuts out just before he gets shot in the chest with what looks to be a taser, although one of the witnesses claims it’s a gun. The surveillance cam footage shows a bit more of the incident, although much of it is obstructed by a police vehicle, which is probably for the best. This was just downright creepy to see. Watch the videos below:
Montalvo is charged with aggravated assault, resisting arrest and trespassing. He has entered a not guilty plea, and is due to go to trial in February.
