Samuel L. Jackson is Confused About Not Being Cast in ‘Captain America: Civil War’

It seems like everyone and their mother will be in Captain America: Civil War — except of course for bad mother (shut your mouth) Samuel L. Jackson.

Yeah, he’s as confused as we are about Nick Fury’s omission in the latest Marvel film.

As Jackson explained to IGN, “I was surprised I wasn’t in Civil War, because the Russo Brothers told me I was. I don’t know what’s going on.”

“I’m not in Captain America 3. I can’t figure that out, but I’m not. I guess I’m still out there, trying to figure out what happened to S.H.I.E.L.D. and who these other people are,” he turned around and lamented to Collider.

Don’t worry though, Sam Jackson isn’t going anywhere.

Added the actor (who is still contracted for two movies — probably the Avengers: Infinity War two-parter), “I’m looking for a contract extension right now, yeah. I’m looking to re-up.”
