Corbett was perhaps best known for his BBC1 series, The Two Ronnies, which co-starred fellow funnyman Ronnie Barker. The series lasted from 1971 to 1987, and made Corbett a household name. However, Corbett also had a variety of other roles throughout his storied career, from his part in David Frost’s 1960s comedy series The Frost Report, to countless stage shows such as The Seven Year Itch, Out of Order and The Dressmaker.

Our thoughts and condolences go out to the Corbett family during this time. Rest in peace, Mr. Corbett.
