Robert Downey Jr. Reveals New ‘Avengers’ Character Poster, Teases ‘Big Announcement’

As we near the release date for Avengers: Age of Ultron, new promotional materials are seeing the light of day. This latest one comes courtesy of Iron Man himself.

Robert Downey Jr. tweeted an individual character poster for the movie, in which a helmet-less Tony Stark shows off his new, badass Mark XLIII duds while outside a giant HYDRA base. It’s a pretty slick one-sheet, so much so that it almost feels more like a poster for an Iron Man movie than an Avengers movie.

But beyond the sweet poster, Robert Downey Jr. also teased a “big announcement” for March 5th. What will the announcement be? Well, the last time he made a big announcement, it ended up being Captain America: Civil War. Could this be related to that? Could it be confirmation of Iron Man 4? He DID add the hashtag #IronMan and #getexcited, so that seems the likeliest, to me. But what do you think the announcement will be? Sound off in the comments, and check out the character poster for Avengers: Age of Ultron below:
