Rescue Dog With Enormous Growth on Her Head Makes Amazing Recovery – See Her Transformation (PHOTOS, VIDEO)
This precious dog was surrendered to a shelter due to growing medical costs when a large lump appeared on the side of her head.
Named Meesha, the pooch was taken in by Liz Gigler, the director of the nonprofit group Rescued Pets Are Wonderful, who also happens to be a veterinary technician.
After taking Meesha to a number of vets, the canine finally had her surgery this week after living with the large growth for over eight months.
Wrote Meesha’s foster mom of the successful surgery:
The surgeon just called to let me know Meesha is out of surgery and in recovery. It took about 3.5 hours and they were able to remove the entire mass. Even better they were able to save her ear and she still has blink reflexes in her left eye! I will be visiting her shortly and will update again. She will be staying the next day or so in the hospital.
