Republicans Blocked Bill To Stop Terrorists From Buying Guns
This is a good time to remind everyone that back in December, Senate Republicans blocked a bill that would have stopped suspected terrorists from buying guns.
It also blocked a bill that would expand background checks for gun show and online gun sales.
Republicans blocked it a day after the San Bernardino massacre in California where two suspects pledged their allegiance to ISIS (via MSNBC). Fourteen people were killed in that mass shooting.
This weekend, 50 people were killed and 53 were wounded in the deadliest mass shooting in U.S. history. ISIS claimed responsibility for the attack after it was revealed that the gunman pledged his allegiance to ISIS in a 911 call.
