Reporter and Cameraman Killed During Live Broadcast (VIDEO)

A gunman killed a reporter and cameraman during a live broadcast Wednesday morning of CBS affiliate WDBJ in Virginia.

Alison Parker, 24, and Adam Ward, 27 were killed shortly after 6:45 a.m. while filming at Bridgewater Plaza in Moneta, Virginia.

OMG So senseless. I hope the murderer is brought to justice!


The suspect has shot himself, apparently not dead but in critical condition.

TSR Staff: Chinny!! @Miss_ChinChin _____________________________________ Earlier this morning we reported on the shooting that occurred this morning in Virgina that left two dead and one seriously injured. _____________________________________ The mystery shooter has been identified as a disgruntled former employee who was fired from the job at WDBJ last year. He had to be escorted out of the office when they fired him, so you know he must of had a hot temper. _____________________________________ The sheriffs department identified him as 41-year-old Vester Lee Flanagan II, he also went by the name Bryce Williams. Flanagan sent a 23-page fax over to ABC News, which was handed over to authorities. _____________________________________ He recorded himself while he shot the victims and posted it to his Twitter and FaceBook accounts hours later, as to brag or boast of his wrongdoing. ABC News said it recieved a 23-page fax from Flanagan that referenced a “race war,” the Charleston church murders in June, and Flanagan’s belief he was being oppressed for being black and gay.
