Pro Wrestlers Strike Back Against Conor McGregor for Anti-WWE Remarks

One of the biggest heels in MMA has drawn the scorn of the entire pro wrestling community with his claims that he would “slap the head off” the entire WWE roster, during the UFC 202 media conference call. Granted, McGregor still claimed to have respect for the McMahon Family, The Rock, and Triple H. But…well, those guys aren’t part of the current WWE roster that McGregor had just put down.

In calling the WWE roster “p*ssies”, McGregor prompted responses from damn near half the WWE locker room on Twitter. The irony, of course, is that the wrestlers might be the ones getting worked by McGregor, particularly if he can parlay this into a one-time fight for a big payday. I mean, if UFC and WWE could come to terms on a deal to allow Brock Lesnar to fight at UFC 200, why couldn’t they also strike a deal to let one of their own go one-on-one with Conor? Either way, McGregor’s comments have been incendiary towards the locker room, and everyone from Roman Reigns, to AJ Styles, to Chris Jericho, to Sasha Banks have words for him in response. Check out the list of tweets below via F4WOnline/Wrestling Observer:
