President Obama Addresses Deadliest Mass Shooting In U.S. History (VIDEO)
President Barack Obama addressed the nation after the deadliest mass shooting in U.S. history left 50 dead and 53 injured in a gay nightclub in Orlando early Sunday morning. He called it “an act of hate and an act of terror.”
Police identified the shooter as Omar S. Mateen, a 29-year-old U.S. citizen from Port St. Lucie, Florida whose parents originally came from Afghanistan.
ISIS claimed responsibility for the shooting. Mateen had called 911 before he carried out the attacks, pledging allegiance to ISIS.
