Precious Horse Suffering From Dwarfism Lives Like A House Pet (VIDEO)
Miniature horses aren’t exactly a rare occurrence, but it is rare for any miniature horse to be allowed indoors with his owners.
In this video, we meet a miniature horse named Acer, who comes in at just 22 in. tall. As it turns out, Acer was born with dwarfism, which is a recessive gene that is only at risk of being passed on to the foal when it is carried by both of the foal’s parents. In this case, Acer just came out on the bad side of luck. However, his owner, Maureen O’Sullivan, simply couldn’t bring herself to put him down. So she decided to keep him. For the most part, he leads a happy life at her Miniature Horse Farm in Corringham, Essex, where he enjoys indoor privileges that none of the other miniature horses are allowed.
