Porsche 944S Makes Surprising First Impression In POV Drive (VIDEO)
Regular Car Reviews is back with a POV drive of a 1987 Porsche 944S. Mr. Regular offers his first impressions of the car while driving it.
Things start out well enough, initially. Mr. Regular notes the subtlety of the car’s torque surge, but details how odd the first gear is, and how the car squats down under acceleration. There are other positives and negatives to Mr. Regular’s experience with the Porsche 944S, and it’s likely to cause a bit of controversy in the Porsche community. Hell, his official review of the car has already done that. But the defense has been that this isn’t a “proper” 944S, and that Mr. Regular needs to drive one that, say, doesn’t have wheels too big for its gearing. There’s merit to that argument, but it’s still interesting to see what Mr. Regular’s first impression of a car ends up being on these POV drives. Watch the video below:
What do you think? Is this a fair assessment or far off the mark? Sound off in the comments!
