Nicki Minaj has been caught spreading COVID-19 misinformation after she claimed on social media that her “cousin’s friend’s testicles got swollen after getting the COVID-19 vaccine” in Trinidad.
The health minister of Trinidad and Tobago investigated the claim and flat out said that it was a lie:
“Claims are being made. One of the reasons we could not respond in real time to Ms. Minaj is because we had to check and make sure that what she was claiming was either true or false. Unfortunately, we wasted so much time yesterday running down this false claim.”
Nicki Minaj said that she did not attend the MET Gala this week because of the event’s COVID-19 vaccine policy. She did not get the vaccine because she claims she already contracted COVID-19 in the past… then cautioned her fans about the vaccine because… her cousin’s friend got the vaccine and his testicles got swollen and became impotent and was about to get married and his fiancée left him because of this so please pray on it.
