Philippine Group to One Direction: ‘No Drug Test, No Entry!’
Will One Direction be forced to take a drug test before they perform in the Philippines next week? An anti-drug group has started a campaign demanding that 1D be tested for drugs.
“Laban ng Pamilyang Pilipino” is asking the Philippine government’s Bureau of Immigration to test the boy band before they enter the country for their “On the Road Again” tour. The show dates are March 21 and 22.
Last year, a leaked video of Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson allegedly smoking weed spread on the Internet. This was the source of concern for the anti-drug advocacy group, and a screenshot of Zayn Malik was used to spread their message.
Gossip Cop reports that the bureau’s commissioner has said: “If given enough information, we can actually prevent these drug users from entering the country.”
Fans are up in arms and on Twitter, #StopTheDRUGTESTfor1DPH was trending on Thursday.
