Orlando Bloom Returning for ‘Pirates of the Caribbean 5’
Disney has confirmed that Orlando Bloom (Will Turner) will be back for the 5th installment in the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise: Dead Men Tell No Tales AKA Pirates of the Caribbean: Enough Already, This is Getting Ridiculous.
The news was announced by Johnny Depp — in character as Jack Sparrow — during Disney’s D23 Expo.
Revealed Bloom back in January when he wasn’t entirely sure of his return, “They want to reboot the whole franchise, I think, and do something with me and the relationship with my son. I’m of course Davy Jones now, so I’m down the bottom of the ocean.”
