New York City is now burying COVID-19 coronavirus victims who have no known next of kin in mass graves on Hart Island near the Bronx. The dead of families who cannot afford funeral expenses are also buried there.
A drone captured footage of laborers digging the grave and the video is heartbreaking. The caskets are just plain wooden boxes piled on top of one another.
On Thursday New York City recorded its most number of deaths to COVID-19 coronavirus for a single day at 799. Everyone stay safe out there!
