NXT Star Bull Dempsey Leaves WWE

The NXT roster is losing a familiar face, as Bull Dempsey has left WWE.

The NXT star, who hasn’t really been used much the past few months, announced his departure on Twitter. “It’s been real @WWENXT,” the tweet reads. “Amazing group of coaches & coworkers & a helluva boss. Thank you for the opportunity @TripleH. See ya down the road!”

However, it doesn’t seem like this is the end for Bull in professional wrestling, since he’s now taking bookings, according to another tweet sent out after his farewell message:

Ultimately, this looks like a completely amicable split. Bull’s farewell message was classy, and he seems like a genuinely good, hard-working guy. Really, it’s hard to blame him for leaving. I don’t think he was ever going to get called up to the main roster, and I think he may have realized that. Best for Bull to try and make the most of his physical prime out on the indies, and maybe come back to WWE in the future. Either way, I wish him the best of luck.
