Nick Jonas Volunteers To Replace Iggy Azalea at Pittsburgh Pride
Nick Jonas has stepped up to the plate for gay pride. He volunteered to replace Iggy Azalea at Pittsburgh Pride, after Iggy was forced to back out due to backlash.
Iggy has made some homophobic remarks in the past and some organizations protested and even backed out.
Nick Jonas has no such baggage and has always been a supporter of LGBT people everywhere. He even plays on DirecTV’s Kingdom.
“Nick had heard about Pittsburgh Pride in the media and called us on Tuesday and said he would like to come and perform,” said Gary Van Horn, president of Delta Foundation. “He has been a supporter of the LGBT community, and he wanted to make sure that the community and Pittsburgh had a Pride event that they could be proud of.”
In a weird twist, Nick Jonas and Iggy Azalea actually have a connection. Nick was supposed to open for Iggy’s now canceled stadium tour.
