Lisa Marie Presley, the only child of legend Elvis Presley, has died. She was 54.
Her mother Priscilla Presley made the announcement today in a statement:
“It is with a heavy heart that I must share the devastating news that my beautiful daughter Lisa Marie has left us. She was the most passionate, strong and loving woman I have ever known.”
This comes just hours after it was confirmed that Lisa Marie was rushed to the ICU, after she suffered cardiac arrest at her residence in Calabasas early Thursday.
This is just devastating news.
Elvis Presley died of cardiac arrest at age 42. His mother Gladys Presley also died of heart disease at age 46.
Lisa Marie Presley was last seen in public two days ago at the Golden Globe Awards.
