Hulk Hogan has died. He was 71.
Hogan was once the most popular professional wrestler in the world – with universal appeal – but that legacy has been tarnished over the last decade.
It was revealed in 2015 that he was a full-blown racist calling African Americans the N-world on record. He also gave a full-throated support of Donald Trump at the 2024 Republican Convention.
His support for Trump was allegedly a publicity stunt to sell his line of beer… and/but the MAGA crowd hated him anyway.
He went from one of the most recognized faces in American sports, to one of the most viscerally hated. He will not be missed.
Hogan was pronounced dead 90 minutes after the paramedics arrived at his home in Florida on Thursday. He died of cardiac arrest according to police.
