Netflix Sets 2015 Premiere Dates for ‘Orange Is the New Black’, ‘Wet Hot American Summer’
You can now begin planning and setting aside time for your summer binge: Netflix has confirmed the release dates for two of its most anticipated summer series.
Netflix has announced that Orange Is the New Black will return for Season 3 on June 12, with all thirteen episodes premiering on the same day, as in years past. Meanwhile, the upcoming sequel series to Wet Hot American Summer, the 2001 cult classic comedy, will premiere on July 17. And, as with OITNB and every other show in Netflix’s lineup, all eight episodes will debut on the same day, because Netflix doesn’t care if you have work you need to finish or a family reunion you need to get to.
Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp will reunite the original movie’s all-star cast, including (deep breath) Amy Poehler, Bradley Cooper, Elizabeth Banks, Paul Rudd, Christopher Meloni, Janeane Garofalo, David Hyde Pierce, Molly Shannon, Michael Showalter, Marguerite Moreau, Ken Marino, Michael Ian Black, Zak Orth, A.D. Miles, Marisa Ryan, Kevin Sussman, Joe Lo Truglio and Judah Friedlander.
There’s no trailer for Orange Is the New Black Season 3 just yet, but you can check out a teaser for Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp below:
