Netflix Releases ‘Daredevil’ Season 2 Trailer, Bumps Up Premiere Date (VIDEO)

Netflix has announced we’ll be getting Daredevil Season 2 a week earlier than previously announced! And now, we’ve got a teaser trailer to go along with the hype!

Daredevil Season 2 will premiere on March 18, bumped up a week from the original March 25 release date, which would have put it in direct competition with the release of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. While going head-to-head with the movie wouldn’t be a problem from a viewership perspective, considering you could literally watch the entire season when you get home from the theater, it makes sense to premiere the season on a weekend where there’s no competition for social media buzz. Then again, we don’t know for sure why the premiere date was moved up. Hell, I don’t even really care why. We’re getting Daredevil a week sooner! That’s all that really matters here. Well, that and the teaser trailer, which boasts the return of Matt Murdock/Daredevil (Charlie Cox), Wilson Fisk/Kingpin (Vincent D’Onofrio), and the arrival of Frank Castle/The Punisher (Jon Bernthal) and Elektra Natchios (√Člodie Yung). The clip itself is awesome, with Sistine Chapel-esque artwork depicting the central conflicts of the series. I can’t wait for the premiere! Watch the full video below:
