Netflix Announces ‘Fuller House’ Premiere Date, Releases First Trailer (VIDEO)
Fuller House, the sequel to the classic 90s sitcom Full House, is coming to Netflix this February. And you can get your first sneak peak with the official teaser trailer, which Netflix has just released.
The entire 13-episode season of Fuller House will premiere on Feb. 26, and the series promises a blast of nostalgia right to the heart, as the teaser revisits some of the show’s most iconic locations in the old Tanner home while soundbites from the series stars (Candace Cameron Bure, John Stamos, Jodie Sweetin, Andrea Barber, Bob Sagat and Dave Coulier) can be heard just on the other side of the front door — as a dog that looks like a relation of their old pal, Comet, waits with anticipation. Fittingly, this is all set to Miranda Lambert’s “The House That Built Me”, although I was naively holding out hope for “Everywhere You Look” to make a reappearance. Ah well, you can’t win’em all. Hopefully, the theme song for Fuller House is just as catchy. The sitcom landscape of this of this era needs some corniness to it! Seriously though, this teaser was kind of moving, particularly if you grew up with Full House like I did. Get ready for goosebumps…or, at the very least, a good-natured eye roll from the “Cut it out!” catchphrase making a return. Watch the video below:
