More Advertisers Pull Out Of Still Not Canceled ’19 Kids and Counting’
A long list of advertisers have removed their ad campaigns on the still-not-canceled 19 Kids and Counting on TLC. According to TMZ, Jimmy Dean, Pure Leaf Iced Tea, Ace Hardware, David’s Bridal, ConAgra Foods, Party City and Behr have joined CVS, H&R Block, Ricola, Keurig, Walgreens and General Mills in pulling out or no longer advertising on the show after Josh Duggar’s child molestation scandal broke out last week.
TLC has pulled episodes from the air but have inexplicably not canceled the show, reportedly waiting for the scandal to die down. The show is very strong among evangelicals who have stood behind the Duggars, specially admitted child molester Josh Duggar. Josh admitted that he molested his sisters when was a teenager.
Perhaps now TLC will see that light that associating themselves with an admitted child molester is not good business.
The network already did once before when they canceled Here Comes Honey Boo Boo, that’s why it boggles the mind why they would stand behind 19 Kids and Counting.
